Tucked away on our arable family owned farm, our hidden meadow is the ultimate space for those special celebrations with friends and loved ones or for a corporate event with colleagues and as a filming location. Going from the private driveway to the onsite grass parking area, you will be greeted with sights of rolling farmland, greenery and views to Crantock, parts of Newquay and even the sea!
Little Oak Cornwall is ideally situated between the villages of Cubert and Crantock, just off the A3075 main road from Newquay to Truro and a short distance from the A30. Holywell Bay (famous for being one of the locations for BBC’s Poldark) and Crantock beaches are within easy access, being only a few minutes’ drive for those beautiful coastal photographs. Newquay Airport and train station are also not too far so everyone can join the event from wherever they live.
The enclosed, quiet space of the Little Oak meadow is perfect for any event for up to 150 people - be it small get togethers, parties, outdoor corporate events or Cornish weddings. With the surrounding trees and hedges, it’s an idyllic spot to relish in the celebrations exclusively by yourselves for your privacy and enjoyment.
With mains electricity, water for catering and our own toilets onsite and included in our venue hire, the location is perfect to create your event to the way you desire! A a blank canvas you can let your imagination run wild, with it being truly a DIY space to suit your needs and wants. We also have our larger field, adjoined to the Little Oak as part of the hire, to cater for any additional requirements – even to land a helicopter should you wish to have a grand entrance or fly in important guests!
Our farm location also offers an array of seasonal flora and animal life. If you are lucky enough during your visit, you may spot deer, buzzards and other avian species that reside here which is a perfect filming opportunity!
